Do you take insurance?
Yes! We accept insurance, call us today to see if we accept your plan. We also accept every major credit card, offer payment plans, and prices on a sliding scale.
What do I need to do prior to my first session?
Before your first session, complete your client paperwork through our HIPAA-compliant portal. We always send this prior to your visit and sometimes it goes to spam so check all inboxes.
Do you prescribe medication?
We at Preferred Behavioral Health Agency have the capability of prescribing medication. If that's something you are interested in, you should meet with our Doctor. Medication alone cannot solve all issues. It is proven that paired with therapy the response is much better.
Can I do therapy from home?
Why yes you can! Telehealth is as easy as 1.2.3!
How will I know if you are the right therapist for me?
The only way to know for sure is to come in for your session. In-person allows you to better read your therapist, understand their tone and reasoning, and help them understand you better.
What’s the difference between talking to you or my best friend?
The difference is between someone who can do something, and someone who has the training and experience to do that same thing professionally.
Are people who go to therapy weak?
Not at all. People who ask for help know when they need it and possess the ability to reach out are stronger than those who don't. It takes immense power to know when you need help and to go find it.
Can therapy for my children be at a park?
Absolutely! We encourage them to open up and allow us to help in the way that best reflects them. If that means going to the park, let us get our tennis shoes and we'll meet you there!
